November 2010
Three games into the season and the men's basketball team has already broken a school record. This year, UNCG has eight count 'em eight games that will be televised.
So that means, when you're not able to catch a game at the Greensboro Coliseum or at any of the away locations, you just might be able to tune in and watch the action.
Upcoming games that will be televised include the Dec. 15 match up against Wake Forest and the Dec. 29 home game against Duke, both on ESPNU. Other games include:
And you don't have to watch the games alone. In Greensboro, the Piedmont Triad Alumni Club is organizing viewing parties at Old Town Draught House for the Wake Forest, Clemson and Elon games.
Alumni in other areas are encouraged to organize their own viewing parties. Don't know where to begin? Contact Mary Swantek at m_swante@uncg.edu or call (336) 256-2011 for help with reaching out to alumni in your area.
