Home at last

The bright, sunny day felt like a good omen. After months of working through all kinds of weather, a number of people who had swung hammers, wielded paint brushes and landscaped the yard came to dedicate the Habitat for Humanity house on Village Crest Drive on April 8. Earth Day 2011

Happy birthday, Weatherspoon

This is one of the coolest 70-year-olds you'll ever meet. The Weatherspoon Art Museum is kicking off its 70th anniversary in a big way this year. First, the exhibition “Weatherspoon Art Museum: 70 Years of Collecting” features 100 highlights from its permanent collection. Read more about the exhibition which ends May 1.
