The first step

This year's commencement had all the earmarks of celebration — the bubbling joy, the parental pride, the beaming smiles. It also had a first. Beyond Academics, a four-year certificate program for college-age students with intellectual disabilities, graduated its first class of six students. Quick history

Party planning

It's never too early to mark your calendar for UNCG's biggest party — Homecoming. This year, Homecoming will fall on the week of Sept. 19-25, with Spartan Village and the men's soccer homecoming game on Saturday, Sept. 24. Read more about what's being planned for the week.
