The words entrepreneurship and arts aren't typically seen together. Unless you're at UNCG.
UNCG's annual Southern Entrepreneurship in the Arts Conference is designed to help students and creative professionals develop the entrepreneurial skills they need to succeed in a life in the arts.
The all-day conference will be held Saturday, Feb. 11, in Elliott University Center. This year's keynote speaker is Beverly McIver, a contemporary artist and Suntrust Endowed Chair Professor of Art at North Carolina Central University. The luncheon speaker is Jim Dodson, author and editor of the O.Henry and PineStraw magazines.
