The UNCG Guarantee program is entering its third year, and with that comes a new cohort of students who will need mentors. Read more about what's expected of mentors and how you can volunteer.
Looking for a good summer read? Check out Wine to Water: A Bartender's Quest to Bring Clean Water to the World by Doc Hendley. Incoming UNCG freshmen will be reading this book as part of the Freshman Summer Reading Project, designed to introduce students to the intellectual life of UNCG. Freshmen summer send-offs are the big events this summer. Throughout the summer, alumni will host gatherings in their towns for admitted UNCG students. Students get to meet one another and parents have a chance to have their questions answered by alumni. Learn about these events and more.
