Happy anniversary

June marks the 75th anniversary of the Alumni House, and you're invited to the celebration. To commemorate the anniversary of the house's dedication on June 5, 1937, the Office of Alumni Relations is hosting an open house on June 5 from 2-4 p.m. Read more about the history of the house.

A unique way to give back

If you've been thinking about becoming a mentor for a UNCG Guarantee student, now would be a great time to volunteer. The UNCG Guarantee program is entering its third year, and with that comes a new cohort of students who will need mentors. Read more about what's expected of mentors and how you can volunteer.

Turning wine to water

Looking for a good summer read? Check out “Wine to Water: A Bartender's Quest to Bring Clean Water to the World” by Doc Hendley. Incoming UNCG freshmen will be reading this book as part of the Freshman Summer Reading Project, designed to introduce students to the intellectual life of UNCG. Alumni are encouraged to read the book and be a part of the conversation as well. Read more about the book and learn about a chance to hear the author speak on campus.

What's your line? — Is your personal business card working for you?

Whether you've just graduated, are employed or not, and you want to be identified in a new way, make sure you create a personal business card that identifies you the way you want to market yourself.
