Using the Projection Image - MAC Instructions

First, save the PowerPoint template from the web to the desktop:

1. Make sure your browser is set to have files save to the desktop:

In Firefox, under the “File” drop-down menu, select “Preferences.” Select “Downloads” and select “Save all files to this folder.” Click on the “Browse” button and select “Desktop” on the left column, then click the upper left button to close.

In Safari, under the “File” drop-down menu, select “Preferences.” In the “Save downloaded files to” button, select “Other” from the list. Select “Desktop” on the left column, then click the upper left button to close.

2. Click on the desired template image and select “Save To Disk.”

Insert the Projection Image into a PowerPoint Presentation:

  1. Open PowerPoint and then open either a new or existing presentation. If opening an existing presentation file, place the cursor between the slides where you would like to have the projection image appear.
  2. From the menu, choose "Insert > Slides from Files...".
  3. Click "Browse" to navigate to desktop (or folder) where you saved the downloaded projection image file.
  4. Select the downloaded projection image file and make sure to check the box for "Keep source formatting"; click "Insert" and then click "Close". The projection image slide should have been placed in your PowerPoint presentation.
