While the Tagline is recommended for communications that promote the University, it should not appear in the following instances:

  • On business cards, mailing labels, return addresses and formal, legal or financial documents where the purpose of the communication is not related to University publicity.

  • When the logo is reduced in size to a point that the tagline is unreadable.

  • On materials with an intended shelf-life beyond 2008 (e.g. signage, books, permanent banners, etc.)

  • The Tagline may not be used alone, i.e. without the University’s abbreviated name or full name, except if incorporated in the header of a UNCG-affiliated web page.

Questions regarding the proper use of the Tagline may be addressed to Debbie Schallock, Assistant Director, Marketing, in University Relations, 336-334-4042.
