UNCG Professor Named Editor of Journal

Kathleen Williams, professor and head of the Department of Exercise and Sport Science, has been named editor of “Research Quarterly for Exercise and Sport.”

Williams will serve a three-year term as editor of the multidisciplinary, exercise science research journal. Williams, whose research has focused on motor development, primarily in the behavioral aspects of aging, has served as section editor of the journal’s Growth and Motor Development section for six years. She succeeds outgoing editor Stephen Silverman, Teachers College, Columbia University.
