offer a counseling workshop – “A Partnership
in its Prime: Leadership and Advocacy in the Counseling
Profession” – in the Ferguson Building,
Room 100, from 1:30-4:30 p.m. Friday, March 18.

Dr. Cynthia J. Osborn from Kent State University will
lead the workshop, which is sponsored by the UNCG
chapter of Chi Sigma Iota International, the counseling
honor society. Osborn is the president-elect of Chi
Sigma Iota and one of the editors of the book “Leaders
and Legacies.”
This workshop will examine the key roles of leadership
and advocacy in the counseling profession. It will
help counselors, counseling students, and counselor
educators identify leadership and advocacy opportunities
to benefit those they serve and their profession.
