On a university campus, the scary things are usually the professors and the tests. But on Oct. 27 UNCG will be particularly spooky.
Parents and children in the Triad community are invited to take part in fun, games, arts, crafts and, of course, candy for this year’s Greek Treats. The event will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 27 in Cone Ballroom, Elliott University Center (EUC) on the UNCG campus. A donation of canned or non-perishable food, cash or change, or donated clothing is suggested as admission. All donations will benefit Hurricane Katrina relief efforts.
Sponsored by the university’s fraternities and sororities, Greek Treats is a fun, safe way for children to trick or treat and enjoy Halloween. Children should come in costume and register outside of Cone Ballroom with their parents, who are invited to stay with their children throughout the event.
Parking is available near the EUC at the Walker Avenue Deck on the corner of Walker Avenue and Kennilworth Street on the UNCG campus. Click here for a map of the campus. For more information, contact the Office of Student Life at (336) 334-5800.
