Trend tracking guru Robyn Waters, a former vice president for Target, will speak at a symposium 2-4 p.m. Oct. 27 in Elliott University Center Auditorium.
“The Trendmaster’s Guide,” free and open to the public, is organized by the Department of Consumer, Apparel, and Retail Studies. A book signing will follow Waters’ speech.
With more than 30 years of experience translating trends into sales, Waters is credited with helping Target grow from a regional discount chain into a national retail powerhouse.
She is the founder and president of RW Trend, and the author of “The Trendmaster’s Guide: Get a Jump on What Your Customer Wants Next.”
The symposium is sponsored by the CARS Advisory Board and Kurt Salmon Associates, a global management consulting firm specializing in retail, consumer products and healthcare.
