UNCG Sympathy, Help Extended to Hurricane Victims

By , University Relations

The thoughts and prayers of the UNCG community are with our neighbors affected by the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. In the days and weeks ahead UNCG will be working to find ways to help those whose lives have been altered so dramatically by this catastrophic disaster.

UNCG will be working to help students from the colleges and universities directly affected by the hurricane in an attempt to place them in on-campus courses and distance education courses. Students who would like to explore placement opportunities should contact the Undergraduate Admissions Office (336) 334-5243.

The Office of Leadership and Service-Learning is coordinating campus-wide efforts to help with relief efforts. For more information about events and activities being planned, please contact (336) 256-0538.
