Kevin Boyle will read at UNCG Oct. 6.
Poet Kevin Boyle will celebrate the release of his latest book, “A Home for Wayward Girls” with a reading at UNCG.
The reading, at 8 p.m. Oct. 6 in the Faculty Center on College Ave., is free, open to the public and will be followed by a reception and book signing.
Boyle’s poems have appeared in “The Greensboro Review,” “Alaska Quarterly Review,” “Colorado Review,” “Denver Quarterly,” “Poet Lore” and elsewhere. His book “The Lullaby of History” won the Mary Belle Campbell Poetry Prize and was published in 2002.
A native of Philadelphia, Boyle received his MFA from the Iowa Writer’s workshop and teaches at Elon University.
