School of Music Presents Hurricane Relief Concert Sept. 27

 

The School of Music presents Katrina Relief Concert: Music to Restore the Soul at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, in the school's recital hall, Market and McIver streets.

Donations in cash or by check will be accepted at the door, and proceeds will go to the American Red Cross.Various groups and individuals from the school will perform in the recital hall of the School of Music, located at Market and McIver streets.

A silent auction will be included in the event, featuring various items and musical services such as private lessons, background music, and performances by the East Wind Ensemble and Red Clay. Viewing for the auction starts at 7 p.m. and runs through intermission, with winners to be announced after the concert.

Free parking is available in the McIver Street deck. For more details, call 336-334-5789.
