Carl Nichols Jr., co-author of “Why Johnny Can’t Brand,” will be the keynote speaker at a symposium 2-4 p.m. Sept. 21 in Elliott University Center Auditorium.
This annual symposium, free and open to the public, is presented by the Department of Consumer, Apparel, and Retail Studies. A book signing will follow Nichols’ speech.
Nichols has more than 25 years experience working with small start-up firms and business giants, such as Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola and IBM. The book outlines an eight-week strategy to establish a top brand.
“Why Johnny Can’t Brand” is available for purchase at the UNCG Bookstore. It will also be available Sept. 21 beginning at 1:30 p.m. outside the EUC Auditorium.
Parking for the event is available in the Walker Avenue Parking Deck for $1 an hour.
