UNCG will host a reading by poet Matt Hart at 8:30 p.m. Feb. 7 in the Faculty Center.
The program, sponsored by the MFA Writing Program and the Greensboro Review, is free and open to the public. The reading will be followed by a reception and book signing.
Hart is the author of the recent “Who’s Who Vivid,” a collection of poetry. His poetry has appeared in journals such as Spinning Jenny, the Greensboro Review and Ploughshares. His chapbook, “Revelated” was published in 2005 by Hollyridge Press. He is co-founder and editor of “Forklift, Ohio: A Journal of Poetry, Cooking & Light Industrial Safety” and managing editor of “Incliner,” a student-run journal of visual and literary arts.
He holds an MFA in poetry from Warren Wilson College and teaches writing, literature and aesthetics at the Art Academy of Cincinnati.
