Faculty members at UNCG have been granted promotions, effective Aug. 1. Announced by Chancellor Patricia A. Sullivan, promotions to full professor from the rank of associate professor were given to:

LaJeunesse, Department of Biology; Dr. James A. Anderson and Dr. Thomas F. Jackson, Department of History; Dr. Karin Baumgartner, Department of German, Russian and Japanese Studies; Dr. Sharon L. Bracci, Department of Communication; Dr. Patricia B. Crane, Department of Adult Health; Dr. Paul G. Davis and Dr. Katherine M. Jamieson, Department of Exercise and Sport Science; Steve Haines, School of Music; Dr. Heather M. Helms, Department of Human Development and Family Studies; Ellen D. Jones and Dr. Susan A. Letvak, Department of Community Practice; Dr. Lynne P. Lewallen, Department of Parent-Child; Dr. Julie M. Reinhart, Department of Library and Information Studies; Dr. Harper A. Permanent tenure was granted to Dr. Liam M. Duffy, Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry; Dr. Andrew Harley, School of Music; and to professional librarian Elizabeth R. Bernhardt in Jackson Library.
