Faculty Dance Concert Nov. 29-Dec. 2

GREENSBORO, NC – The UNCG Department of Dance will present its annual faculty concert at 8 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, Nov. 29-Dec. 2.

The concert in the UNCG Dance Theater will feature the work of five faculty members:

•  Eluza Santos will present a solo, originally choreographed for her, danced by a senior dance student.

•  John Gamble will present a new work for his company, the John Gamble Dance Theater.

•  Jan Van Dyke will present the new trio Trinity, which is touring with the N.C. Dance Festival.

•  Larry Lavender will premiere a large group work performed by dance students.

•  Robin Gee will present a new African-based work with drummers and dancers.

Tickets are $10 for general admission, $7 for students and seniors, and $5 for UNCG students. For information and reservations, call (336) 334-4849.
