Poet Hu Reads April 19

GREENSBORO, NC – Poet Tung-Hui Hu will read Thursday, April 19, at UNCG.

The reading, sponsored by The Greensboro Review and the UNCG Center for Creative Writing in the Arts, begins at 8 p.m. in the Faculty Center on College Avenue.

It is free and open to the public. A reception and signing will follow.

Hu is the author of two collections of poetry: “Mine” and “The Book of Motion,” which won UC Berkeley’s Eisner Prize.

Winner of the 2005 Greensboro Review Literary Award for Poetry, Hu’s work appears in a variety of journals and magazines including Ploughshares, The New Republic and Harvard Review.


Hu lives in San Francisco, where he writes on film and new media.
