GREENSBORO, NC – Take your kids — and yourself — back to the basics with a summer theatrical treat.
“Carolina Jack’s Last Adventure,” part of the Theatre 232 collaboration between Triad Stage and UNCG Theatre, runs June 12 through June 30 at Triad Stage.
Written for young audiences by UNCG theatre student Peter Duffy, the play is a music-filled journey into the beloved folktales of the North Carolina mountains. In this age of iPods and Nintendos, a group of abandoned folktale characters encounters today’s technologically immersed children.
All performances are at Triad Stage, 232 S. Elm Street in downtown Greensboro.
Dates and times are: 10 a.m. on June 12, 13, 14, 15, 19, 20, 21, 22; 10 a.m. and noon on June 26, 27, 28, 29; and 2 p.m. on June 16, 23, 30.
Tickets are $7 for adults; $6 for children, seniors and students; and $5 for groups of 10 or more.
