Roderick Recites Oct. 25

GREENSBORO, NC-- Poet David Roderick will read Thursday, Oct. 25, at UNCG.

The reading, sponsored by the MFA Writing Program and the Center for Creative Writing in the Arts, begins at 8 p.m. in the Faculty Center on College Avenue. It is free and open to the public, and a reception and book signing will follow.


Roderick, who teaches in the MFA program, is the author of Blue Colonial, winner of The American Poetry Review/Honickman Prize in Poetry. He was a Wallace Stegner Fellow in Poetry at Stanford University and earned an Amy Lowell Traveling Scholarship.


Roderick’s work appears in many journals, including The Greensboro Review, New England Review and Virginia Quarterly Review.
