GREENSBORO, NC – The Speech and Hearing Program at Gateway University Research Park will host From Vines and Voices, a wine tasting fundraiser to help patients who can’t afford speech-language pathology services and voice prosthetic devices.

The event will be held 4:30-9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, and includes wine tasting courtesy of Zeto Wines, a silent art auction, and music by jazz pianist Eddie Paolantonio and members of the UNCG Jazz Department.

“We are looking forward to hosting an event that will improve the quality of life for so many people who have voice impairments that otherwise might not receive care,” said Mike Campbell, director of the Speech and Hearing Program at Gateway University Research Park

For more information or to purchase tickets, contact Anne Hogan at AEHogan@uncg.edu or (336) 217-5122, or visit Zeto Wines in downtown Greensboro.

Gateway University Research Park is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit entity created to manage and operate the joint collaboration between North Carolina A&T State University and The University of North Carolina at Greensboro for the purposes of supporting research and economic development within the Triad.

Gateway University Research Park will attract and retain educational, corporate and community service agencies which advance scientific and educational research in technology. The park, located in Browns Summit, opened in May 2007 and is expected to expand to include 2,000 employees.
