GREENSBORO, NC – The NC Dance Festival begins its 17th season Oct. 18-20 with a different show at 8 p.m. each night in the UNCG Dance Theater. During the following months, the festival will make stops in five other locations around the state.
Tickets – $15 for adults, $12 for students and seniors, and $9 for UNCG students – are available from the UNCG Box Office, (336) 334-4849 or http://boxoffice.uncg.edu. The theater is at Walker Avenue and Kenilworth Street, with parking available in the deck across the street.
Professor Jan Van Dyke, chair of the UNCG Department of Dance, has coordinated the festival since it started in 1991. As it has throughout its history, the festival showcases North Carolina-based dancers and choreographers, and builds grassroots support for dance.
