- The economic quarter after a presidential election is usually the worst performing. But the 2008 election could prove an anomaly. Allen explains why and how this election is different from other elections when it comes to economic predictions.
- Flat tax, fair tax and tax cuts: Why reforming the tax code should be a top election issue
- The economic news in the past year has been littered with stories about ethical lapses resulting in disastrous consequences – from the near collapse of the mortgage industry to the Federal Reserve Bank’s interjection of capital to bail out private equity firm Bear Stearns. Voters should be concerned about the ethical linkages between Wall Street and the federal government.
