GREENSBORO, NC – It promises to be an evening you won’t soon forget.
Visit the Weatherspoon Art Museum Thursday, March 6, to hear creative writing students Joellen Craft, Travis Diehl, Kacie Ragland and Joshua Watson read, among other poems, works inspired by the Weatherspoon’s latest exhibit, “The Lining of Forgetting: Internal & External Memory in Art.”
The Weatherspoon and the MFA Writing Program are sponsoring the reading, which begins at 5 p.m. at the Weatherspoon. It is free and open to the public; a reception will follow.
“The Lining of Forgetting” explores the ways we remember, both as individuals and collectively, and highlights how we mostly rewrite and fabricate memory. For more information on the exhibit, visit http://weatherspoon.uncg.edu/exhibitions/default.asp.
