Dr. Eldaliz Fernandez and Dr. Bruce Lynch.
GREENSBORO, NC – Student Health Services has announced two major staff promotions, both effective Jan. 1.
Dr. Bruce Lynch became director of the Counseling and Testing Center. Lynch had previously served as assistant director.
Dr. Eldaliz Fernandez became medical director of the Student Health Center. Fernandez had served as interim medical director since August 2007.
Lynch has been with the Counseling and Testing Center since August 2003. A licensed health services provider/psychologist, he received his doctoral degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
Fernandez earned her medical degree from the Universidad Central Del Caribe School of Medicine in Puerto Rico. Board-certified in internal medicine, she has been an associate physician at the health center since 1992.
