GREENSBORO, NC - Undecided about a major? If you are, mark Tuesday, Feb. 12, on your calendar.

Representatives from academic departments, Career Services and the University Registrar’s Office will be in Cone Ballroom of Elliott University Center 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. to answer questions about different majors.

Last year, at the first Major Matters event, faculty and staff from 41 departments answered such questions as: What courses are required for this major? What are the admission and graduation requirements? Is there a student club or organization for students connected with this major? What career options are open to a graduate with this major?

Sponsored by the University Advising Council, Major Matters offers help for the roughly 600 undergraduates who have not chosen a major. For more information, contact Nancy Bucknall, College of Arts & Sciences Advising (CASA) director, at 334-4361.
