The World Comes to UNCG for International Festival April 12

GREENSBORO, NC – The International Festival, the largest international cultural event held annually at UNCG, will take place on Saturday, April 12 from noon to 5 p.m. in the fountain area on campus.

This year’s I-Fest will feature more than 40 booths with music, food, games performers and activities representing 35 countries. The public is welcome at no charge.

New this year will be a special children’s area will feature flag face painting, passports-around-the-world and a performance stage. Other performances include Bhangra dancing from India, African drumming, belly dancing, capoeira from Brazil, martial arts demonstrations, and storytelling.

UNCG has a community of more than 500 international students.

In case of rain, events will be held in the Health and Human Performance Building. Free parking will be available in the Walker Avenue Parking Deck.
