New Theatre Season Offers Plays by Kushner, Steve Martin

GREENSBORO, N.C. –  Theatre’s 2009-10 season promises an eclectic mix of shows, from Tony  Kushner’s Pulitzer-winning dramatic opus “Angels in America,” to the thought-provoking fun of Steve Martin’s “Picasso at the Lapine Agile.”


Shows and dates, subject to change, are:

Tickets for non-musical plays are $12 for adults; $10 for students, senior citizens, and children; $8 for groups of 10 or more and UNCG Alumni Association members; and $7 for current UNCG students.


Tickets for musicals (including the spring opera and “Evil Dead”) are $15 for adults; $12 for seniors, students, or children; $9 for groups of 10 or more and UNCG Alumni Association members; and $7 for UNCG students.


Tickets are sold through the University Box Office at (336) 334-4849 and at http://boxoffice.uncg.edu during the academic year. Online season packages will be available by mid-August.
