GREENSBORO, N.C. – Three Piedmont Triad executives have been appointed and seven members re-appointed to the Business Advisory Board for the Bryan School of Business and Economics.
The new members, who began a three-year term on March 1, are:
• Rasmus Fenger - president, Disaster One, Inc., Greensboro
• Charles Hauser - manager, Physician Discoveries, Winston-Salem
• Sam Funchess - director, The Nussbaum Center for Entrepreneurship, Greensboro
Re-appointed members are:
• Brad Hayes ’87 - executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer, LabCorp, Burlington
• Eric Manuel ’92 - site president and director of collections, Citibank, N.A., McLeansville
• Ched Neal ’79 - president, Parkway Ford/Foothill Ford, Winston-Salem
• Dean Priddy ’83, ’86 MBA - chief financial officer and vice president of administration, RF Micro Devices, Greensboro
• Arthur Same - president, Samet Corporation, Greensboro
• Ramona Woods - chief financial officer, Ashtaé Products, Inc., Greensboro
• Doug Young ’73 - chief executive officer, LiveCargo, Inc., Greensboro
High Point attorney Jim Morgan has been appointed as the new chair of the board. Morgan is a partner in the law firm of Morgan, Herring, Morgan, Green, Rosenblutt & Gill, LLP.
The Business Advisory Board provides advice to the Bryan School’s leadership on strategies that will help the school achieve its goals. The board offers strategic input on ways the school can increase its service to businesses, helps inform the community about the school’s offerings, advises on fundraising and serves as a sounding board for educational programs and external activities.
The Bryan School is the largest of UNCG’s six professional schools with 400 graduate students and 2,200 undergraduates. It is accredited by AACSB International (the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) and is among the top 10 percent of business schools nationwide that have earned accreditation at the undergraduate and graduate levels in both business and accounting.
