GREENSBORO, N.C. – With a varied repertoire that ranges from Irish standards like “Danny Boy” and “Fields of Athenry” to the Hollywood hit “My Heart Will Go On,” The Irish Tenors have sung to audiences worldwide for more than a decade.
The trio will bring their melodic voices to Aycock Auditorium for a performance Wednesday, March 4 at 8 p.m. as part of the University Concert & Lecture Series at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

The group, originally formed in 1998, melds the voices of three accomplished tenors. They are billed as Ireland’s Romantic Singer, Finbar Wright; Ireland’s Best Living Tenor, Anthony Kearns; and Ireland’s Sweetest Tenor Voice, Karl Scully.
The group has recorded eight bestselling albums and has been featured on five PBS specials, bringing their intricate harmonies into thousands of households. They are one of the most successful Irish touring acts in the United States, second only to U2.
