GREENSBORO, N.C. – Faculty members who have given more than 230 years of service are retiring from UNCG. The faculty members and their years of service are as follows:

• Dr. Pamela P. Barron, associate professor, Department of Library and Information Studies, nine years
• Dr. Bruce J. Caldwell, Joe Rosenthal Excellence Professor, Department of Economics, 27 years
• Dr. Cort A. McClaren, School of Music, associate professor, 25 years
• Dr. Joseph B. Mountjoy, Department of Anthropology, professor, 39 years
• Dr. Frank T. Melton, Department of History, professor, 42 years
• Nancy C. Fogarty, University Libraries, professional librarian, 38 years, 10 months
• Dr. Virginia B. Karb, Department of Adult Health, associate professor, 30 years
• Dr. Carl L. Dyer, Mae Putman and Albert Hayes Distinguished Professor, Department of Consumer, Apparel and Retail Studies, professor, 9 years
• Mary Jo Helfers, associate clinical professor, Department of Adult Health, 15 years.
