• Jerry Pubantz, professor of political science, was interviewed for a WFMY News 2 report on what the current protests in Iran might mean for Americans. (6-25-09)

• Dr. Tara T. Green, director of the African American Studies Program, participated in a panel discussion about fatherlessness on WUNC's The State of Things. Green is the author of "A Fatherless Child: Autobiographical Perspectives of African-American Men." (6-18-09)

• The Cone Mill Village Project, headed by Dr. Benjamin Filene, was featured on The Buckley Report on Fox 8. (6-17-09)

• Fox 8 broadcast a story about My Sisters’ House, a home for single mothers designed and now being built by UNCG students. (6-11-08)

• The Business Journal of the Triad posted a short item about the university's switch to a new food service provier. Chartwells is replacing Aramark. (6-5-09)
