GREENSBORO, N.C. – There’s a new color emerging in American businesses — silver.
More than 26 million workers, or about 17 percent, will be age 55 and older by 2010. That figure is expected to rise to nearly 20 percent by 2015.
The Gerontology Program at UNCG will address “The Silvering Workforce” at the 4th annual Aging is Good Business summit Wednesday, April 8.
The event, which begins at 8:30 a.m. in Elliott University Center’s Cone Ballroom, is open to the public. General registration costs $125 and is due by April 1. Reduced rates are available for UNCG faculty and students. To register for the conference or for more information, call (336) 256-1020 or visit www.uncg.edu/gro.
