GREENSBORO, N.C. —
Erin LaSala presents her MFA dance concert, “Moments Between …” at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, April 17-18, in the UNCG Dance Theater.
The concert features five original works exploring stages of life, periods of time and thoughts related to various encounters.
Set to the music of Zoe Keating, The Ditty Bops, Mogwai, Ludovico Einaudi and others, the dances are a mixture of satirical, often witty, perspectives on life and examine the ways in which we interpret the world around us.
The UNCG Dance Theater is at 1408 Walker Avenue. For directions, visit http://www.uncg.edu/dce/directions.html.
Tickets – $12 general admission, $9 seniors and children, and $6 students – are available from the University Box Office, (336) 334-4849 or boxoffice.uncg.edu.
The department’s other spring semester concerts are:
• 8 p.m. April 24-25, 2 p.m. April 25, Departmental Concert, an evening of works created by Department of Dance faculty and students, and
• 8 p.m. May 1-2, 2 p.m. May 2, Senior Thesis Concert, original choreography by graduating BFA students.
