GREENSBORO, N.C. – Faculty members at UNCG have received promotions, effective Aug. 1.
Announced by Chancellor Linda P. Brady, the promotions to full professor from the rank of associate professor were awarded to: Dr. William O. Brown Jr., Department of Accounting and Finance; Dr. Ann H. Dils, Department of Dance; Dr. Emily D. Edwards, Department of Broadcasting and Cinema; Dr. SallyAnn H. Ferguson, Department of English; Dr. William D. Hart, Department of Religious Studies; Dr. Michael J. Kane, Department of Psychology; Dr. B. Scott Romine, Department of English; Dr. Susan M. Walcott, Department of Geography; and Dr. Edward J. Wisniewski, Department of Psychology.
Other faculty members were promoted from assistant professor to associate professor and granted permanent tenure. They are: Dr. David F. Ayers, Department of Curriculum and Instruction; Dr. Tracy R. Permanent tenure was conferred to Dr. Kristine Lundgren, associate professor, Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. Dr. Constance L. McKoy, School of Music, was promoted to associate professor from assistant professor with permanent tenure.
