GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Bryan School of Business and Economics at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro will launch four new online programs this fall designed to give students flexibility in completing a bachelor’s degree or post-baccalaureate certificate without attending classes on campus.
Three of the programs – Information Technology; Information Assurance, Security and Privacy; and Supply Chain, Logistics and Transportation Management – are 12 credit hour, post-baccalaureate certificates designed to offer the latest information in high demand areas.
The fourth offering is a degree completion program intended for transfer and returning students who wish to complete a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in business studies. The program is an online version of the Bryan School’s most popular major.
The new programs represent the Bryan School’s first comprehensive foray into online education, said Dr. Joy Bhadury, the school’s associate dean of research and graduate programs.
“Our state is slated for a huge bump in the number of students that we will need to serve,” Bhadury said. “Given the constraints on physical resources, delivering online education successfully will be essential for us as a university to educate these students.”
The deadline to apply for fall admission for the certificate programs is July 1; the deadline for the degree completion program is Aug.1.
