GREENSBORO, N.C. — In support of Mental Health Awareness Month, the UNCG Psychology Clinic is offering free mental health screening for children and adolescents 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursday, May 28.
The clinic is located on the third floor at 1100 W. Market Street, Greensboro. No appointment is necessary.
Supervised master’s level therapists will be available to provide brief screenings to parents and children that will assess a range of child and adolescent behavioral and emotional difficulties. Parents who would like to come for a consultation without their children are also welcome. As part of the screening, parents will be provided feedback and recommendations based on the results of the screening.
The clinic is between Market Street and Friendly Avenue. The parking lot can be entered from Adams Street or Tate Street. Please park in one of the spaces labeled Psychology Department, which are located to the right of the building’s main door.
