- Anthropology's Dr. Carlina de la Cova was profiled by the News & Record for her work with local law enforcement to identify skeletal remains. (11-30-09)
- WFMY wrote a story about UNCG's new major in entrepreneurship. The major, approved earlier this month by the UNC Board of Governors, will launch in January 2010. (11-25-09)
- Mark Schumacher, who works in the Reference and Instructional Services Department of Jackson Library, was featured in a segment on Fox 8, WGHP. The 61-year-old Schumacher plays ultimate with the UNCG club team. (11-23-09)
- The Landlord Tenant Dispute Program, a partnership between the City of Greensboro Human Relations Department and the UNCG Program in Conflict Studies and Dispute Resolution, was highlighted in a story in the News & Record. (11-21-09)
- WFMY profiled Dr. Carlina de la Cova, an assistant professor of anthropology, who led the efforts to help identify skeletal remains found outside Greensboro. "Every bone tells a story," she said. "Every skeleton has a story to tell, and the key is looking at that skeleton and hearing what the skeleton says." (11-19-09)
- Members of UNCG's Department of Anthropology assisted the Guilford County Sheriff's Department collect skeletal remains found in Guilford County Nov. 17, WFMY reported. (11-18-09)

- The Conference on African American Culture and Experience, sponsored by the UNCG African American Studies program, was featured in an article in the Carolina Peacemaker. (11-11-09)
- Dr. Andrew Brod, director of the Center for Business and Economic Research in the Bryan School of Business and Economics, was quoted in a WXII story about the measures merchants were taking to promote their holiday sales. (11-9-09)
- The Associated Press wrote about the
Women's Entrepreneurial Leadership and Learning (WELL) conference co-sponsored by the Bryan School of Business and Ecoomics, resulting in coverage in Newsday and on WUNC (11-7-09.
- Keith McCrary, associate director of UNCG’s student health services, spoke to the News & Record for a story about people who fear getting a seasonal flu shot. He explained that this is a new experience for many college students. “They’ve never seen this kind of a mass vaccination before,” he said. “So they’re a bit skeptical.” (11-6-09)
- The News & Record highlighted the African American Studies Program's fall Conference on African American Culture and Experience in an article exploring the 100th anniversary of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. The article also quotes the program's director, Dr. Tara T. Green. (11-2-09)
