GREENSBORO, N.C. –The School of Nursing honored eight graduates with baccalaureate, master’s and doctoral 2010 Graduate Excellence Awards.
Recipients are:
The School of Nursing Alumni Association Award to an MSN student: Catherine Moore, 605 Hillcrest Road, Apex.
The recipient must have a GPA of at least 3.0, and demonstrate professional and interpersonal skills which present a positive outreach for the School of Nursing.
The School of Nursing Alumni Association Award to a BSN student: Amanda Jackson 2313 Burnette Drive, Greensboro.
The recipient must have a GPA of at least 3.0, and demonstrate professional and interpersonal skills which present a positive outreach for the School of Nursing.
MSN Leadership Award: Michele McGlamery, 3515 48th Ave. NE, Hickory.
BSN Leadership Award: Ashley Jarrell, 6 Oakville Court, McLeansville.
Leadership awards go to graduating students who demonstrate integrity, self-confidence, professionalism, compassion, ability to work with others to achieve goals and an interest in the welfare of the School of Nursing.
Dean’s Recognition Award, MSN: Sara Miller, 550 Beauchamp Road, Advance.
Dean’s Recognition Award, BSN: Joseph Byron Haddock, 3625 Gramercy Road, Greensboro.
Dean’s Recognition Awards go to graduating students who demonstrate excellence in nursing care, academic achievement, commitment to advanced practice, integrity, maturity, industry, a sense of humor, intellectual curiosity and the desire for continued professional growth.
Community of Nursing Award: Pamela Crosson, 1101 Florida St., Greensboro.
The Community of Nursing Award recognizes leadership in the School of Nursing, promoting a greater appreciation of persons from the various races, ethnic backgrounds and cultures.
Faculty Award for Excellence in Nursing: Lauren Moore, 310 Travis Lane, Salisbury.
The Faculty Award recognizes the one graduating senior whom the faculty believes to best exemplify the highest level of achievement in nursing practice.
