These are the minimum standards for unit web sites at UNCG. By meeting minimum standards, the University will comply with basic requirements as set forth by federal law:

• Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990
• Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act Amendments of 1998
• Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act

The Unit Web Site Requirements provide comprehensive standards to which all unit web managers are expected to comply, regardless of whether the unit site is housed on a UNCG server or hosted by an external vendor.

The requirements do not apply to personal pages (including tilde accounts), course-related pages, or pages behind portals.
