Prerequisites

Prerequisites for the WOC Web3 Certification program will be offered through IT Services, utilizing their expertise as trainers and training coordinators. While none of the prerequisite training sessions are directly web-related, they do build a necessary foundation upon which the web certification trainers may build.

Basic Computer Skills & UNCG Computing Environment

In this class you will learn some basic computer skills and the basics of computing at UNCG and the UNCG Network. This class is for PC users and will be taught on Windows XP machines. You will login to your account, work with the Network, learn about applications and work with Windows XP.

Introduction to Element K

This is a brief, 30 minute lunch-time workshop that will teach you the basics of using Element K! You will create your Element K account, visit the Element K site and look at the catalog of courses. Other items will be covered too. Documentation you can take with you will be handed out.
