Web3 Project Team
Web3 Project Team Members
The Web3 Project Team is an assemblage of individuals from across the campus who have expertise in one or more components of successful web development, from infrastructure and development to management and support.
Web3 Membership Qualifications
WOC Web3 Certification
All current or potential members of the Web3 Project Team must have successfully completed the UNCG level 1: Unit Web Site Maintainer training program and passed the related online certification test.
All current or potential members of the Web3 Project Team must have successfully passed the Brainbench Web Design for Accessibility certification exam, available via the online ElementK training program.
Divisional Representation
One individual is chosen from one of the major divisions within the University. This representative will be recommended to each division by the existing Web3 Project Team.

Other Membership Qualifications
- Membership is by invitation only.
- The technical chair of the Web Oversight Committee (University Webmaster). This individual does not chair Web3.
- Groups within a Division which exert a significant impact upon web development across the University. These representatives are chosen in the same manner as divisional representatives.
- Group membership is fluid - as the technological impact of a given group ebbs or flows, membership may be amended as deemed necessary by the Web3 Project Team or Web Oversight Committee.
- Other individuals with proven expertise in one or more areas of web development.
- Membership will be evaluated on an annual basis.
