Dr. Goldfarb is an exerciseimage of Dr. Alan Goldfarb physiologist with a research specialization in biochemistry.  His current research focus is understanding the effects of exercise on the production of  radical species and their by-products in relation to physiological function and the use of antioxidant supplementation.  He has also studied the regulation of metabolism during exercise through hormones and humerol factors. 

Dr. Goldfarb had published research papers in Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise, Endocrinology, Journal of Applied Physiology, European Journal of Applied Physiology, International Journal of Sports Medicine and others. He has also co-authored 10 chapters in books. 

Dr. Goldfarb is a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine, and a member of New York Academy of Sciences and Sigma Xi.

Oxidative-stress, antioxidant supplementation, hormonal regulation of carbohydrate metabolism, and muscle damage.
