The last five talks listed were the result of collaborative efforts among several
faculty members
and a graduate student of the Department of Romance Languages, UNCG.
Funded Teaching
In 1995-1997 I was a member of the Dept. of Romance Languages team that received
a NEH/MLA grant ($20,000). The project was entitled "Designing an Exemplary
Program in Foreign Language Teacher Education."
In 1990 I was the Director of The Governor's Graduate Language Institute in
Spanish. I received a State Grant ($57, 835) to fund the project and host it
at UNCG.
Other Related Activities
I regularly attend workshops and conferences centered in issues dealing with
my professional
development as a teacher (technology, distance education, writing intensive,
student preparation
for PRAXIS II exams, etc). Such as:
