Research

I study arithmetic quotients of symmetric spaces. These locally symmetric spaces stand at the intersection of various topics in number theory, geometry, and topology. In particular they are closely related to the theory of automorphic forms. I focus primarily on the topology and geometry of these singular spaces and their application to number theory. My research is intended to deepen our understanding of various aspects of this link, both proven and conjectural, and to provide experimental verification in specific cases.
