Lab members presented six research posters at the International Society for Developmental Psychobiology conference in Washington, D.C. from November 9 - 12, 2011.

At the meeting, Dr. Nelson was presented with the 2011 Hennessy-Smotherman-Wiley Best Student Paper Award. Congratulations, Eliza!

Dr. Michel and Dr. Nelson were invited to speak about their research at the International Institute on Developmental Science in New York, New York on September 9-11, 2010.


August 2010
Dr. Eliza Nelson is joining our lab through an NICHD postdoctoral fellowship with the Center for Developmental Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Nelson completed her Ph.D. in Neuroscience and Behavior at the University of Massachusetts Amherst where she studied how human and monkey infants use their hands.
