Jill Green, Ph.D., coordinates the dance education program, conducts research, and teaches dance education and body courses at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. 
Dr. Green's research interests include: Dance Education, Somatics and Body Studies, Creativity, Qualitative Research, and Feminist Research and Pedagogy.   Her work is published in a number of journals including Dance Research Journal, Impulse, Journal of Physical Education, Recreation and Dance, Journal of Interdisciplinary Research in Physical Education and Frontiers: A Journal of Women Studies.  She has co-written a book chapter with Sue Stinson, titled, "Postpositivist Research in Dance," in Researching Dance: Evolving Modes of Inquiry, edited by Sandra Fraleigh and Penny Hanstein (1999).
