G. Donald Jud
Dr. G. Donald Jud is Professor Emeritus and Research Fellow in the Office of Business and Economics Research at the Bryan School of Business and Economics at UNCG. He has taught courses in finance, real estate, and economics. Dr. Jud received his Ph.D. from the University of Iowa. He is author of over 80 academic articles and three books, including Inflation and the Use of Indexing and the Desktop Encyclopedia of Banking. Dr. Jud's research has appeared in numerous academic and professional journals including the Appraisal Journal, American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association Journal, Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics, Journal of Real Estate Research , Journal of Housing Economics, Journal of the American Planning Association, Journal of Financial Education, Journal of Real Estate Portfolio Management, Journal of Real Estate Practice and Education, Real Estate Issues, Journal of Property Research, Journal of Financial Economics, Land Economics, and Urban Studies .
He is on the editorial board of the Journal of Real Estate Literature and a member of the Appraisal Journal's academic review panel. He is a past editor of the Journal of Real Estate Research and continues to serve as a member of the Journal's editorial board.
Dr. Jud is a past president of the American Real Estate Society (ARES). He is a fellow of the Homer Hoyt Advanced Studies Institute and the American Real Estate Society. Dr. Jud is a Distingusihed Fellow at the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties Research Foundation and a Burns Fellow at the University of Denver.
He compiles a monthly newsletter that focuses on economic trends in the Greensboro MSA entitled the Triad Business Index. He has served as a director of the Greensboro Rotary Club and the Greensboro Regional Realtors® Association. He is a past President of the Central North Carolina chapter of Junior Achievement.
Don and his wife Adrienne are members of the First Moravian Church in Greensboro, where he serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees. |
