Dr. Delaney's Teaching & Courses

Teaching classes is fun. I like students and I get excited about sharing what I know and learning from students.  I won two teaching awards (for large lecture "service" courses) as a graduate student at the Florida State University and was nominated (but did not win) twice at the University of Florida.  For the near future I will be teaching introduction to psychology, cognitive psychology, the psychology of thinking, and graduate-level seminars.

In the past I have taught both large lectures and smaller classes. I have designed and run undergraduate courses in social psychology, cognitive psychology, and general psychology (aka intro psych).  At the graduate level, I was the teaching assistant for a graduate level teaching seminar.  I have also run graduate-level courses on expertise and skill acquisition, on human problem solving, and on verbal report analysis techniques.

These days, most information on my courses is available via Blackboard.
